Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Building Engineer to join our team on the 1st shift, Monday through Friday, with rotating on-call responsibilities for emergencies after hours and on weekends. The role involves troubleshooting, service, and preventative maintenance of various facilities equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform troubleshooting and preventative maintenance of HVAC systems, including heating equipment, chillers, boilers, cooling towers, exhaust fans, VAVs, and rooftop units.
• Conduct mechanical maintenance on valves, compressors, pumps, steam stations, and motors.
• Handle plumbing repairs involving fixtures, toilets, urinals, flush valves, sinks, and more.
• Perform electrical maintenance on lights, outlets, breakers, and generators.

Essential Skills

• 5+ years of experience in facilities maintenance for commercial or industrial properties.
• Proficiency in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Experience in operation, maintenance, and basic repair of HVAC systems, boilers, heaters, pumps, refrigerant systems, compressors, and water systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and predictive maintenance skills.
• Possession of EPA Universal certification.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Basic computing skills in Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Valid driver's license.

Work Environment

Work in a 150,000 sq ft building dedicated to Siemens manufacturing, alongside approximately 450 employees. The work environment supports a collaborative and dynamic team culture.

1st shift - 6 am - 2:30 pm OR 7 am - 3:30 pm

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hingham, MA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $31.30 - $34.43/hr.
