We’re hiring an Audit Director to lead audit engagements, manage teams, and deliver high-quality compliance and advisory services. The Audit Director will play a key role in building the audit practice, developing client relationships, and supporting firm-wide growth strategies.
You’ll manage multiple audit projects, mentor staff, and work closely with senior leadership to ensure profitability and client satisfaction. This role demands a strategic leader with deep CPA experience, strong project management skills, and a passion for continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities - Audit Director
- Lead and manage audit engagements from start to finish, ensuring timely, profitable delivery
- Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and serve as a business advisor
- Mentor and coach audit staff, driving professional development and performance
- Oversee budgeting, quality control, and departmental profitability metrics
- Collaborate with leadership on firm-wide initiatives and business development
Requirements - Audit Director
- CPA with 7+ years of progressive audit experience in a public accounting firm
- Minimum 3 years in quality control (QC) review functions
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (MSA or MBA preferred)
Additional Skills:
- Proficiency with audit software (Profx, Engagement, CCH) and Microsoft Office
- Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage shifting priorities and peak workload periods
