Master Mechanic
Taylor Davis Landscape & Construction is seeking a dedicated and skilled Master Mechanic to join our team. Our company is known for its commitment to quality and excellence in landscape and construction services. As a Master Mechanic, you will be instrumental in maintaining the efficiency and reliability of our diverse fleet of vehicles and machinery. This role offers the opportunity to work with a variety of equipment and contribute to the success of our construction projects. Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance and repairs on heavy operating equipment, including excavators, bulldozers, loaders, and more.
- Diagnose mechanical issues and implement effective solutions to ensure equipment efficiency.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify and address potential problems before they escalate.
- Weld and create forms to fix equipment as needed.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines, ensuring a safe work environment.
- Coordinate with Shop and Yard Managers to schedule and prioritize repairs based on company needs.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a mechanic working with heavy operating equipment.
- Knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and other equipment components.
- Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical issues efficiently.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
