Language Pathologist

Key Responsibilities- Comprehensive assessment of pediatric feeding and swallowing disorders in the outpatient setting with patients from birth to early school age years with complex medical diagnoses
- Assessment and management of patients with oropharyngeal dysphagia in the Aerodigestive Center and other multi-disciplinary medical clinics
- Performing instrumental assessment of swallowing, including Modified Barium Swallow
- Providing family education and case coordination
- Completing documentation related to feeding and swallowing assessment and treatment
- Working in close collaboration and partnership with physicians, speech-language pathologists, and other health care professionals
- The opportunity to provide feeding therapy services with program expansion
- A Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology
- A current Massachusetts state license to practice as a Speech Language Pathologist.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (ASHA).
- 3-5 years of directly related clinical experience in pediatric feeding and swallowing disorders is required.
- Candidates at the SLP I level with 1–3 years of solid, relevant experience may also be considered.
- Ability to work collaboratively with inter-professional teams in a fast-paced medical environment.

The posted pay range is Boston Children’s reasonable and good-faith expectation for this pay at the time of posting.
Any base pay offer provided depends on skills, experience, education, certifications, and a variety of other job-related factors.
