• Position : Maintenance Technician (Plastic Injection Molding)
• Locations : Berlin, CT, Hudson MA, South Bend IN (On-Site)
• Schedule : Monday to Friday 7am to 3:30pm
• Compensation : $32 - $38/hr (Dependent on Experience)
• Employment Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire

Position Summary : This role is responsible for performing maintenance and repair on all plastic injection molding machinery and equipment including robots, chillers, thermolators and hot running systems.

Essential Functions:

• Repairing, troubleshooting, and inspecting all mechanical, electrical, electro-mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment
• Performing preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance on machines and robots according to specifications
• Regularly checking heater bands, rings and pulling screws / barrels
• Safely utilizing the proper equipment to access jobs to both remove and install parts

Ideal Candidate Experience:

• Prior plastic injection molding maintenance experience (required)
• Ability to follow established procedures, read blueprints and maintain accurate records
• Understanding of auxiliary, electrical, and hydraulic equipment, robots and machines
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English

Physical Demands of position:

• Ability to work in loud manufacturing environment
• Occasional need to bend, squat, climb, grasp, reach, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Frequent walking / standing
