Description:
McDonald’s is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Shift Manager to join our Springfield, MA location. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to grow their career in restaurant management. Shift Managers play a critical role in leading teams, ensuring high-quality service, and maintaining operational standards throughout each shift.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead shifts every week, providing guidance and leadership to crew members and other managers.
- Ensure customers receive fast, friendly, and accurate service on every visit.
- Oversee food quality, cleanliness, and overall restaurant safety during each shift.
- Plan and monitor shift performance, taking action to meet McDonald’s operational standards.
- Communicate effectively with the next Shift Manager to ensure smooth transition and continuity.
- Help assigned departments meet goals and support team members in achieving targets.
- Manage food safety, internal communication, inventory, daily maintenance, and cleanliness.
- Supervise crew members, conduct training, and maintain high standards of customer service.
- Handle scheduling, safety, and security responsibilities as needed.
Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Positive team player with a flexible schedule.
- Strong leadership skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous leadership experience preferred, ideally in restaurants, retail, or hospitality.
