Full-Time, On-Site/Hybrid

Pay: $22-$25/hour

Schedule: Monday–Friday, Full-Time

We’re a fast-growing home improvement company with a mission to help homeowners love their home—and that starts behind the scenes with a solid finance team. We’re looking for a detail-oriented, driven Accounting Assistant to join our finance department.

If you love checklists, accurate numbers, and figuring things out, this might be the perfect fit.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Process invoices for 100+ vendors and prepare payments

• Assist in allocating costs to jobs and maintaining accurate project records

• Support monthly close and internal reporting (P&L, budget vs. actuals, etc.)

• Help manage installer bonuses, gas card tracking, and other internal systems

We’re Looking for Someone Who…

• Is smart, consistent, and highly detail-oriented—accuracy matters more than experience

• Has up to 2 years of accounting or office experience (or is eager to learn on the job)

• Has some familiarity with QuickBooks Online (or is comfortable learning)

• Is comfortable using Excel or Google Sheets (bonus if you know pivot tables)

• Stays organized and takes initiative to figure things out

• Has a “figure it out” mindset —you’re not afraid to ask questions or solve puzzles

• Wants to work on-site in Chicopee (hybrid may be possible once you’re up to speed)

Requirements

• Accounting software: 1 year (Required)
• Accounts payable: 1 year (Required)
• Organizational skills: 1 year (Required)
• 1–4 years of experience in accounting, accounts payable, or finance
• Strong attention to detail and follow-through
• Comfortable working in QuickBooks Online
• Proficient in Excel/Google Sheets (pivot tables, vlookups, etc.)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Comfortable working on-site in Chicopee (open to hybrid)
• Takes initiative and can figure things out with limited hand-holding
