Position: Server
Reports to: General Manager
- Understands our culture and takes whatever necessary steps to create a positive and memorable guest experience.
- Guiding guests through menus while demonstrating a thorough knowledge of the food, beverages, and ingredients
- Provides food recommendations to guests and addresses all menu and service-related inquiries.
- Follows company policy in handling guest allergies/intolerances, ensuring guests receive "safe" meals.
- Properly enters all items served to guests at our Point of Sale (POS)
- Providing friendly and attentive service that makes guests feel well taken care of and builds their intent to return.
- Provides accurate checks to guests, accepts payments, and completes all appropriate transactions.
- Handles guests' complaints by listening to their concerns, informing a manager promptly, and resolving issues to ensure overall guest satisfaction.
- Thank guests as they leave and invite them to return to the restaurant again.
- Clocks in and out as scheduled.
- Demonstrates a helpful and positive attitude at all times towards guests and team members.
- Completes all assigned tasks and duties assigned by managers/supervisors.
- Follow proper cash-out/check-out procedures before leaving at the end of a shift.
- Assists fellow team members as needed to ensure our guests receive the highest standard of food, beverage, and hospitality.
- Inspects restrooms, dining room, and wait area, cleans as needed, and reports any unsafe conditions to maintain safety and sanitation standards.
- Assists in tasks to ensure a clean, sanitized, and safe environment in the restaurant.
- Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced work environment.
- Capable of prioritizing tasks effectively.
- Able to speak to the restaurant's story and mission statement.
- Passion for hospitality, providing exceptional service, and creating memorable dining experiences.
