Overview: Being the next generation Business Relationship Officer at East West Bank means you are part of a world-class team that focuses on delivering a high quality, high-touch, and high-tech relationship banking experience across all customer touchpoints. As Relationship Officer, you will play a key role in - managing and retaining existing customers and cultivating new relationships with customers to expand East West Bank's customer base to grow assets, loans, and deposits.
- working with internal business partners to facilitate the connection to customers to help them with specialized financial needs.

Responsibilities: - Achieve quarterly/annual goals through business generation of C&I, CRE, mortgages, SBA, treasury management, deposits, investments, and international and other commercial and consumer products offered through East West Bank
- Understand the bank's credit policy to be able to identify client's eligibility for loan products. Understand client's business, industry and identify strategies to create new business opportunities and provide need-based products to customers.
- Motivate, coach and provide guidance to employees to achieve sales and service goals
- Efficiently manages time and is result driven
- Expert in using digital resources and technologies to optimize clients' digital banking experience and possess the aptitude to learn new programs
- Educate customers on how to use digital platforms to bank and invest when, where and how they want
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree or business relevant associate degree such as business management, admin or finance preferred
- 3+ years in commercial lending and or/consultative relationship sales role in a related industry with proven sales track record
- In-depth knowledge of banks, credit and deposit products; experience in international activities between U.S. and Greater China preferred
- Strong sales and service skills including prospecting and networking.
- Proven success in establishing new clients, deepening customer relationships, and delivering results
- Strong financial acumen and communication skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. Able to manage client concerns
- Has the ability to learn and adapt to latest information and technology platforms
- Strong desire and capability to influence, educate and connect team, partners, and customers to technology
Compensation: The base pay range for this position is USD $65,000.00/Yr. - USD $75,000.00/Yr. Exact offers will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
