As a Compensation Systems Analyst, you are detail oriented- and technically proficient to support the design, configuration, and deployment of commission plans within our commission software platform. You will play a key role in ensuring sales compensation plans are implemented accurately, on time, and aligned with business goals.

This position is based out of our Waltham, MA office . We are unable to offer work sponsorship for this role.

Your impact:

• Configure, test, and maintain sales commission plans and reporting in our commission software, CaptivateIQ
• Translate compensation plan documentation into system logic and workflows.
• Collaborate with Sales Operations, Finance, and HR to gather requirements and validate plan structures.
• Develop and maintain SQL queries or scripts to support data integration, plan logic, and reporting
• Troubleshoot and resolve commission discrepancies or calculation errors.
• Conduct UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and participate in QA cycles for plan changes and updates
• Support month-end and quarter-end commission processing cycles
• Prepare compensation insights to be shared with cross-functional teams via dashboards, reports and analytics from CaptivateIQ
• Provide documentation and knowledge transfer for plan configurations and updates

About you:

• 1 – 3 years of experience working with incentive compensation or commission software, CaptivateIQ preferred
• Familiarity with SQL and/or scripting languages
• Experience with data integration or CRM/ERP data (e.g., Salesforce, NetSuite) is a plus
• Ability to work in a fast-paced collaborative environment as an individual contributor
• Knowledge with commission plan structures and sales compensation best practices
• Strong time management, organizational, and critical thinking skills with a high attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally
• Ideally a 4-year Bachelors' degree
• 3+ years of related work experience, preferably in a compensation role
• 2+ years experience with commission software, preferred
