In-Home ABA Therapist

Job Title: In-Home ABA Technician
Location: Malden MA
After School Hours (weekends possible but not required)
Job Type: Part-time ; 5-8 hours per week
Reports To: Board Certified Behavior Analyst
Job Summary: We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In-Home ABA Technician to provide Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to children with autism and other developmental disorders in their home settings. The ideal candidate will work closely with a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement individualized treatment plans and support clients in achieving their goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement ABA therapy programs as designed by the BCBA.
• Conduct one-on-one sessions with clients in their homes or community as necessary for skill development
• Collect and record data on client progress and behaviors.
• Use positive reinforcement techniques to encourage desired behaviors.
• Communicate effectively with clients and their families to provide updates on progress.
• Assist in creating a supportive and engaging environment for learning.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines in all interactions.
• Completing required trainings as assigned by the BCBA

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree in psychology, education, or a related field preferred.
• Experience working with children, particularly those with autism or developmental disorders.
• Familiarity with ABA principles and techniques is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to client homes.
• Electronic device for data entry (such as laptop, Chromebook or IPad/tablet)
