Job Title: Travel Cardiology, Cath Lab Tech (Cardiology)

Location: Hyannis, MA

Job Type: Contract (13 Weeks)

Schedule: Rotating Day Shifts (40 Hours/Week)

• 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• On-Call Required: Nights, weekends, and holidays

Compensation:

• Hourly Rate: $84.03/hr
• Weekly Gross Pay: $3,361
• Weekly Stipend: $1,561

Position Overview:

A leading healthcare facility is seeking an experienced Travel Cardiology, Cath Lab Tech to support invasive cardiology procedures. The ideal candidate will assist physicians during interventional procedures while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and high-quality care in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist physicians in all aspects of invasive cardiology procedures, including scrubbing, circulating, monitoring, and recording hemodynamic data
• Support diagnostic and interventional procedures using specialized equipment and devices
• Provide patient care before, during, and after procedures, ensuring safety and comfort
• Educate patients about procedures and address questions to reduce anxiety
• Transfer patients safely between beds, stretchers, and procedure tables
• Prepare and maintain sterile fields; clean and dispose of equipment post-procedure
• Assist with administration of contrast media under physician guidance
• Monitor and maintain inventory for the department
• Perform routine safety checks, cleaning, and preventative maintenance of equipment
• Participate in continuous learning and professional development
• Support Electrophysiology (EP) procedures if applicable
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Prior experience in Cath Lab or interventional cardiology required
• Ability to work in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment
• Comfortable with on-call rotations, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to wear lead apron and follow radiation safety protocols
• Strong teamwork, communication, and patient care skills

• 40 hours guaranteed per week
