Electro-Optical Engineer
Job Responsibilities:
- Design and develop electro-optical systems and subsystems
- Develop and test Gbps-class optical transceivers and communication systems
- Perform optical system testing, data analysis, and performance evaluation
- Operate, troubleshoot, and repair electro-optical hardware and subsystems
- Develop automated test setups using MATLAB and LabVIEW
- Support prototyping, integration, and validation of hardware components
- Document system designs, test results, and technical findings

- Strong understanding of fiber-optic and electro-optic components and systems
- 5+ years of experience developing Gbps-class optical transceivers and automated test systems
- 8+ years of experience with electro-optical test instrumentation
- 8+ years of hands-on experience in troubleshooting and repair of subsystems
- 8+ years of experience with optical communications hardware
- 5+ years of experience in hardware prototyping and evaluation
- 8+ years of experience with laser characterization equipment
- 8+ years of experience with polarized light in SM and PM fibers
- 5+ years of experience in scientific programming (Python, MATLAB, LabVIEW, C++, etc.)
Education/Experience:
- Master’s degree — Required
