OTR Dry van Company driver (W-2) Job in Cambridge, MA by HMD Trucking

Requirements

• 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
• No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
• No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
• No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
• Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

Operate nationwide dry van lanes for HMD out of Cambridge, MA. As an OTR solo CDL-A driver you'll run long-haul routes, deliver freight safely and on schedule, and maintain accurate driver logs.

Daily responsibilities:

• Drive company-operated dry van tractors on multi-state runs, following DOT and company safety protocols.
• Perform thorough pre-/post-trip and roadside inspections and report equipment issues for in-house maintenance.
• Communicate with dispatch to optimize routing and on-time deliveries.

Requirements & highlights:

• Valid CDL-A and minimum 12 months verifiable experience.
• Pay starts at 65 CPM with ~2,500 weekly miles average, plus safety, inspection and referral bonuses. Modern trucks under 3 years with APUs, inverters, sleepers, biweekly home time, and full benefits.
