Machine Learning Engineer II
Our Opportunity:
We are looking for a Machine Learning Engineer II at our Boston, MA location to apply artificial intelligence and/or machine learning methods to design, test and scale effective, reliable frameworks, systems, and models to improve the usefulness of big data and predictive applications.
What You’ll Do:
- Research, implement, and test machine learning algorithms and tools to solve data challenges and to improve quality and reliability of data.
- Develop machine learning applications according to requirements; design, code, test, deploy and iterate on machine learning systems.
- Research and remain current on machine learning and optimization techniques.
- Effectively resolve problems and roadblocks as they occur.
- Work with data scientists, application developers, product managers and software engineers to develop and support software for new machine learning products.
- Telecommuting permitted up to 3 days per week.
What You’ll Need:
- Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field and 2 years of experience.
- Will also accept a PhD and 0 years of experience.
- Experience or coursework must involve: developing and deploying optimization, predictive and machine learning model;
- Designing optimization and machine learning solutions for large-scale applications;
- Applying advanced mathematics and DS methodologies;
- Machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.) and programming languages (Python);
- Building distributed pipelines, tuning, optimizing, and evaluating;
- MLOps best practices and demonstrated use of Software Engineering best practices and cloud service/platform (Databricks, AWS);
- Techniques including Predictive Models (Time Series and Regression);
- Translating complex data sets and research into simple business recommendations.
- Telecommuting permitted up to 3 days per week.
