Our platform enables and partners closely with other research platforms and Sanofi’s therapeutic areas (Immunology & Inflammation, Immuno-Oncology, Rare & Neurologic Diseases) in the discovery and ultimate delivery of novel candidate molecules.We are seeking a talented and highly motivated Senior Associate Scientist to join our team in the Molecular, Expression and Screening Technologies (MEST) Group within Sanofi’s North America R&D LMR organization. The lab-based candidate will be part of the Screening and Imaging sub-group and will be responsible for high-throughput functional screening of candidate molecules generated by our high throughput automated protein expression system, or provided by our Antibody Discovery, Antibody Engineering, or Antibody Production groups to aid in the discovery of new therapeutic antibodies. Over the coming years, we expect growing demand on our platform driven by new antibody modalities and more complex assay formats. An increased need for functional screening capacity will also result from Sanofi’s emerging state-of-the-art AI/ML pipeline, which will facilitate the design and structural elucidation of novel therapeutic antibody candidates.The focus of this position is on the day-to-day operation of lab automation devices (dispensers, liquid handlers etc.), and an integrated high-throughput screening system, maintenance and troubleshooting of this system and its components.
