NetSuite Principal Industry Learning Lead - Software & Technology
Job Description
At Oracle NetSuite, we're reinventing how people learn in the cloud era. Our Education Services team is on a mission to make every learning moment intelligent, intuitive, and inspiring, powered by AI, data, and great design. If you're an industry expert with a passion for storytelling and a talent for building a following, this is your opportunity to shape the future of digital education for thousands of customers, partners, and employees worldwide.
Summary
We are seeking an entrepreneurial, self-directed Principal Industry Learning Lead for our Software and Technology vertical. In this role, you are the voice of authority and the "face" of learning for your vertical. You combine deep industry expertise in SaaS finance and operations with the ability to engage a global audience both on-camera and in live sessions. Working in close partnership with our Curriculum Product Leads (CPLs), you define the narrative that moves customers from functional usage to business excellence while building a professional following that drives LCS growth and retention.
Key Responsibilities
-
Industry Narrative & Thought Leadership: Partner with CPLs to define the "Business Excellence" narrative for the Software sector. Translate complex roadmaps and industry trends into clear, executive-level stories that address real business challenges (e.g., optimizing hybrid revenue, complex billing structures, ASC 606).
-
Cross-Functional Alignment: Collaborate with Product Management, Go-To-Market, and Education Services teams to ensure learning content reflects NetSuite's product roadmap.
-
Independent Content Creation & Delivery: Independently design, produce, and deliver high-impact learning experiences-including video content, webinars, live expert sessions, and short-form social content-that connect NetSuite capabilities to real-world outcomes.
-
Visible Industry Presence: Serve as a recognizable, trusted industry voice within NetSuite's learning ecosystem. Actively contribute to NetSuite's LMS Hub (MyLearn) experiences and digital channels to build a recognized industry brand and drive immediate user activation.
-
Community & Customer Engagement: Build and nurture a professional learning community by engaging customers and partners on LinkedIn and industry forums. Be a go-to resource for practical guidance on "reducing churn" or "optimizing cash conversion" using NetSuite.
-
Strategic Content & Credential Alignment: Partner with Full-Stack Creators and Certification teams to turn industry insights into polished, AI-leveraged assets and career-aligned certification pathways that scale across the global ecosystem.
Qualifications:
-
Industry Expertise: 6 to 10 years of operational experience at a Software/SaaS company or deep vertical-specific ERP consulting.
-
Media & Presentation Skill: High-level on-camera charisma and the ability to deliver high-value insights through video, webinars, and live audience engagements.
-
Applied Learning Literacy: Ability to structure complex business logic into digestible learning paths that focus on business outcomes rather than just features.
-
Digital Influence: Proficiency in capturing and producing personal media content and engaging a professional audience across social and community platforms.
-
Subject Matter Mastery: Deep understanding of SaaS financial challenges: Subscription billing, revenue recognition, and executive-level KPI reporting.
