Responsibilities
- Deliver PTA services under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist, following the prescribed plan of care.
- Assess patients’ functional mobility, range of motion, strength, and balance; document findings and progress.
- Implement therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance activities, and modality applications as directed.
- Monitor patient response to therapy, report changes or concerns to the supervising PT, and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the patient chart and ensure compliance with privacy and infection control protocols.
- Collaborate with nursing and rehab team to optimize patient outcomes and support safe, progressive discharge planning.

Requirements
- Active Massachusetts PTA license or eligibility
- Graduation from an accredited PTA program
- Prior experience in a skilled nursing facility or rehabilitation setting preferred
- Ability to commit to a 13-week assignment starting on 03/02/2026
- Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills
- Comfortable working in a rehab-focused, multidisciplinary environment
