Job Title: Equipment Mechanic / Forklift Technician

Location: Sutton, MA

Job Type: Full-Time, Temporary

Pay Rate: $27–$30/hour

Eastridge Workforce Solutions is hiring an experienced Equipment Mechanic / Forklift Technician on behalf of a leading client in Sutton, MA. This is a temporary position with competitive pay and an opportunity to work with one of our top industrial partners.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a range of material handling equipment including electric, propane, and diesel-powered forklifts. Safety, technical skill, and professionalism are key in this role.

• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair forklift components: hydraulics, engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems
• Perform regular preventative maintenance and safety checks
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and develop timely repair solutions
• Maintain accurate service logs and complete job documentation
• Respond to on-site service calls and perform fieldwork independently
• Manage parts inventory and notify team of needed supplies
• Follow OSHA standards and internal safety protocols
• Deliver exceptional service and represent the company professionally on-site

• High school diploma or GED required; technical training or certification in equipment/diesel repair is a plus
• Minimum 2 years of experience in forklift or similar equipment maintenance
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic repair skills
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and service manuals
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (for mobile roles)
• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and working in various environmental conditions
