The Data Center Infrastructure Construction team at Oracle Cloud Infrastructure is a dynamic group of professionals dedicated to delivering state-of-the-art data center facilities at scale and at pace. This team comprises experienced project managers, commissioning experts, and construction specialists who work collaboratively to ensure the successful execution of complex data center construction projects. They bring a wealth of expertise in project management, technical design, and on-site construction, ensuring that our data centers meet the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and sustainability. By staying ahead of industry trends and incorporating innovative technologies, this team plays a crucial role in supporting Oracle Cloud Infrastructure's data needs and driving our growth and success.

In this high-impact role, you will lead end-to-end (E2E) program execution by partnering with development, engineering, construction, and operations teams to deliver data center capacity safely, on schedule, and within budget. You will help establish standardized program management practices for schedule, cost, risk, and reporting across a growing portfolio of hyperscale data center builds, while coordinating closely with product teams, service organizations, and infrastructure partners to ensure seamless transition from construction through rack deployment and operational readiness.

No less than 25% travel, but mostly under 50%. Work from home/remote

Responsibilities

As the Director, Program Management, you will support the delivery of next-generation data center infrastructure from early development through construction, commissioning, and rack deployment. As Oracle continues its rapid global expansion, this role will drive program management processes that enable consistent, scalable delivery of critical data center infrastructure including power, cooling, network, and IT capacity.

In this high-impact role, you will lead end-to-end (E2E) program execution by partnering with development, engineering, construction, and operations teams to deliver data center capacity safely, on schedule, and within budget. You will help establish standardized program management practices for schedule, cost, risk, and reporting across a growing portfolio of hyperscale data center builds, while coordinating closely with product teams, service organizations, and infrastructure partners to ensure seamless transition from construction through rack deployment and operational readiness.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Program Management Standards: Establish and implement standardized frameworks for cost, schedule, risk, and reporting across data center infrastructure projects to ensure consistent execution across the portfolio.

  • Portfolio Alignment: Drive alignment of delivery practices across multiple developments, ensuring teams adhere to common milestones, reporting structures, and project controls.

  • Cost & Schedule Governance: Maintain program-level visibility into budgets, forecasts, schedule performance, and key milestones, identifying variances and supporting corrective actions.

  • Risk Management: Implement structured processes to identify, track, and mitigate program risks that could impact project delivery, infrastructure readiness, or financial performance.

  • Executive Reporting: Develop clear program reporting that communicates project status, financial performance, key risks, and delivery milestones to executive leadership and stakeholders.

  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Partner with development, engineering, construction, commissioning, and operations teams to ensure aligned execution and effective issue resolution.

  • Team Leadership: Lead and develop a team of program managers responsible for supporting portfolio delivery and maintaining strong program management discipline.

  • Program Delivery Oversight: Coordinate interdepartmental activities to ensure infrastructure projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and aligned with program standards.

Required Skills

Analytical Problem-Solving: Strong ability to analyze complex program challenges and develop structured, data-driven solutions.

Program Strategy & Governance: Experience establishing program frameworks, standards, and governance for large-scale infrastructure delivery.

Data Center Infrastructure Knowledge: Understanding of data center infrastructure systems and development processes to support effective program oversight.

Program Management: Proven ability to manage large infrastructure programs, including schedule, cost, risk, and reporting across multiple projects.

Leadership: Ability to lead and develop program management teams while fostering strong execution discipline.

Financial Management: Experience with program-level budgeting, forecasting, and cost tracking.

Risk Management: Ability to identify, assess, and mitigate program-level risks impacting schedule, cost, or delivery.

Stakeholder Management: Experience coordinating across cross-functional teams and external partners.

Program Reporting: Ability to develop clear reporting frameworks and dashboards for executive stakeholders.

Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey complex program insights clearly.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $139,400 to $291,800 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

Paid sick leave: 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
