Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical/Surgical Telemetry – Float

Location: Falmouth, MA 02540

Contract Duration: 13 Weeks

Shift: Rotating Days, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM • Every Other Weekend • Rotating Holidays (36 hours/week)



Pay Rate:

Local Pay: $2,070 Weekly

Travel Pay: $2,493 Weekly

Job Summary

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical/Surgical Telemetry – Float for an exciting job in Falmouth, MA.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver total nursing care for assigned patients.

• Provide patient and family education as appropriate.

• Collaborate with nursing staff and interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality care.

• Utilize the nursing process and evidence-based practices in daily care delivery.

• Safely and accurately administer medications.

• Document patient care and interventions accurately within the EMR system.

• Recognize and report signs of neglect or abuse per state regulations.

• Care for postoperative, orthopedic, telemetry, and terminally ill patients.

• Manage patients requiring IV therapy, chest drainage devices, and epidural analgesia.

• Respond promptly and appropriately to urgent or emergent situations.

• Use internal/external resources to support patient care needs.

• Maintain required credentials, competencies, and mandatory training.

• Apply age-specific knowledge to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations.

• Follow all hospital policies, safety guidelines, and customer service standards.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.

• Active RN license in the state of Massachusetts.

• Current BLS certification.

• Successful completion of Medical/Surgical IV Medication Module.

• Successful completion of Basic Arrhythmia Exam.

• 2+ years of Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience (required).

• Phlebotomy and IV experience (required).

• Travel nursing experience preferred.
