Salary: $21 - $24 per hour

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Receive merchandise from vendors and verify shipping accuracy by physically opening boxes to confirm correct quantities, materials, and order details before shelving and distributing to Project Managers.
• Document, label, and track all merchandise entering and exiting the warehouse.
• Identify missing, incorrect, or damaged materials and notify the Purchasing Department immediately.
• Delegate tasks to warehouse helpers and drivers related to warehouse cleanliness, organization, general upkeep, and routine building tasks such as emptying trash and recycling.
• Scan labels and packing slips into designated folders and distribute documentation to Project Managers as required.
• Assist with coordinating efficient delivery routes and transportation schedules.
• Pick, stage, and prepare stock materials as needed for jobs and deliveries.
• Communicate with field employees and track company tools using Asset Tracking Software (sign-in/sign-out).
• Assist with proper daily close-up procedures, such as locking gates and ensuring company vehicles are stored and secured.
• Coordinate shipping and receiving processes for generator equipment.
• Occasional driving of company vehicles may be required.
• Perform snow removal and light building maintenance as required.
• On-call availability for snow removal or emergency response, including early mornings, evenings or weekends as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned. Must be able to lift 50+ lbs.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

• Hours are to be from 8am-4:30p Monday-Friday
• Daily start time may vary based on business need.
• This is a full-time hourly position.
• Employee is expected to work an identified schedule every day.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• High school or GED required
• Minimum of 3 years of warehouse experience
• Has a current MA DOT card or willing to obtain upon hire.
• Valid drivers license with a clean motor vehicle record.

Workplace Environment

Environmental & Working Conditions:

Work is performed primarily in a warehouse environment with occasional outdoor exposure, including varying weather conditions. Regular physical activity is required, including standing, walking, bending, lifting, pushing, and pulling throughout the workday. Exposure to warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, and delivery vehicles. May be exposed to dust, noise, and temperature fluctuations.

Use of required personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, gloves, and other safety gear as needed.

Manual Duties/Physical Requirements

Ability to lift and carry up 50+ lbs., sit and stand for extended periods of time, climb stairs, bend, reach overhead, kneel and balance to meet the physical requirements of this position.

Work is often done in a time-sensitive and demanding environment. There are often important deadlines and the requirement to coordinate work on multiple complex assignments at the same time.

Must be authorized to work in the United States and pass a background check at time of employment and periodically during employment.
