Machine Learning Scientist II

The ML Scientist II in Wayfair's Applied Research organization designs and implements machine learning algorithms that enable systems to learn from data and make informed predictions or decisions. This role involves developing models, fine-tuning algorithms, and deploying scalable machine learning solutions to drive Wayfair's innovation and solve problems. You will apply a strong understanding of machine learning principles, experimental methodologies, statistics, and optimization in this position. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including engineering and product management, you will integrate these insights into company-wide decision-making processes and systems, ultimately being at the forefront of applying ML and artificial intelligence at Wayfair to advance various business aspects through sophisticated machine learning techniques.
