Collections Specialist

As a Collections Specialist, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of accounts receivable and ensuring the timely collection of outstanding payments. This is not a high-volume "call center" environment; it is a strategic role that requires a blend of analytical skills, negotiation expertise, and professional communication.

Responsibilities

• Portfolio Management: Monitor and maintain a dedicated aging report to identify and prioritize overdue accounts.

• Negotiation: Conduct professional outreach to clients to secure payment commitments and negotiate structured repayment plans when necessary.

• Dispute Resolution: Identify and resolve billing discrepancies or service issues that may be delaying payment, collaborating with Sales and Operations as needed.

• Reporting: Provide weekly updates to management regarding collection status, potential bad debt risks, and cash flow projections.

• Accountability: Maintain accurate, real-time records of all client interactions and payment agreements within our CRM/ERP system.
