Locum MD (Medical Doctor) Radiology

As a Locum MD in Radiology, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and interpreting medical images to aid in patient care. Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures in accordance with established protocols
- Interpret radiological images and provide accurate reports
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to discuss findings and treatment plans
- Maintain patient records and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives
- Stay updated with advancements in radiology techniques and technologies
- Provide education to patients and staff regarding imaging procedures
- Support the recruitment team in training and mentoring new staff as needed
Requirements
- MD or equivalent medical degree
- Current board certification in Radiology
- Active medical license in the state of practice
- Prior experience in a radiology setting preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Commitment to patient-centered care and ethical medical practices
Emergency Department Radiologist
Coverage: 3+ month contracts
Schedule: 7a-3p, 3p-11p, or 11p-7a, weekdays & weekends
Must be comfortable reading neuro
Powerscribe 360, AI - ADOC, + state of art "critical results system" efficient flagging and communication tool
Case Volumes: 35-45 CT, 55-65 XR, 5-10 US, 0-2 MRI
Must be board-certified
