Sales Consultant
Sales Consultant – Renewable Energy & Home Improvement
Location: Ma, NH,CT,Ri (Field-Based / Hybrid)
Job Type: Full-Time or Independent Contractor (Commission-Based)
Position Summary
We are seeking motivated Sales Consultants to represent residential solar, roofing, and energy-efficiency solutions. This role focuses on educating homeowners, setting appointments, and guiding customers through available programs. Training and support are provided.
Areas of Focus
- Solar Sales – High commissions, long-term demand, and booming incentives
- Roofing Sales – Strong payouts, insurance-driven opportunities, year-round work
- Mass Save Appointment Setting – Quick wins, easy entry, fast commissions
Consultants may work across one or multiple service lines based on experience and interest.
Compensation
- Commission-based compensation
- Typical first-year earnings range: $100,000–$150,000, based on individual performance
- No cap on commission earnings
Compensation is not guaranteed and depends on sales performance.
Responsibilities
- Conduct in-home or virtual consultations
- Educate homeowners on available products and programs
- Generate and follow up with leads
- Maintain accurate customer records
- Coordinate with internal teams to support project completion
Qualifications
- Strong communication skills
- Self-motivated and coachable
- Ability to work independently
- Reliable transportation preferred
- Sales experience is a plus but not required
