Part-Time Growth & Marketing Manager (29 hrs/week) — Illumitubes
Job Summary
Illumitubes is a growing event-décor product line specializing in custom illuminated centerpieces used at corporate events, mitzvahs, galas, and brand activations across the country. We are ready to scale and are hiring a Part-Time Growth & Marketing Manager (29 hours/week) to build our digital presence, increase demand, and support national expansion.
This role is hands-on and perfect for a junior marketer, content creator, or digital strategist who wants ownership of an entire brand and the opportunity to help grow a niche product into a million-dollar business.
This is a hybrid role. You’ll work remotely most days, but must be able to come to our Wakefield/Peabody shop 1–2 times per week to shoot content.
ResponsibilitiesContent & Social Media
- Create and post photo and video content across:
Pinterest, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, X (Twitter), YouTube Shorts, and emerging platforms.
- Develop a cohesive visual style for Illumitubes across all channels.
- Shoot product photos and videos on-site (1–2 days/week).
- Edit content using CapCut, Canva, or Adobe tools.
- Manage posting calendars and analytics.
Pinterest + SEO
- Build and grow our Pinterest presence (boards, pins, descriptions, SEO).
- Identify search trends (events, décor, corporate parties, mitzvahs, branding).
- Drive traffic to our Shopify/Etsy listings and direct website.
Business-to-Business Outreach
- Build lists of event planners, hotels, corporate event teams, venues, production companies, and décor firms.
- Send outbound emails to prospects with follow-up sequences.
- Make warm calls when needed (no cold call sales scripts).
- Track outreach and leads in a simple CRM (HubSpot or Google Sheets).
Website, Shopify & Etsy
- Improve product listings, photos, descriptions, and tags.
- Optimize for conversions.
- Monitor analytics and adjust strategy.
Brand Growth
- Identify new opportunities, partnerships, and markets.
- Suggest small-budget paid ad tests (Pinterest Ads, Meta Ads, etc.).
- Track key metrics and report weekly progress.
Requirements
- 1–4 years of real experience with marketing, content creation, or social media management.
- Strong knowledge of Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, and Facebook.
- Comfortable filming and editing short-form video.
- Strong writing skills for captions, emails, and outreach.
- Organized, self-directed, and reliable.
- Comfortable emailing and occasionally calling business leads.
- Must be local to the Wakefield/Peabody, MA area.
Nice to Have
- Shopify or Etsy experience.
- Event industry experience.
- CapCut, Adobe Premiere, Canva, Photoshop skills.
- Email marketing experience (Mailchimp, Klaviyo, or similar).
Work Location
Hybrid — must be able to come to our Wakefield/Peabody shop 1–2 times per week for content creation.
Remainder of hours can be remote.
