Technical Business Lead - Proactive Service (Remote)

Position Overview
As a Technical Business Lead - Regional Proactive Services in the Customer Value Creation (CVC) organization, you will be responsible for executing the Regional Proactive Services (RPS) strategy and supporting Atellica/Automation service initiatives. Key responsibilities include analyzing machine data to develop proactive action plans for service partners, refining and executing the RPS North America strategy, and collaborating closely with Field Service partners to ensure success.
Additionally, you will work with cross-functional teams to ensure achievement of targets tied to CVC strategic imperatives: improving the customer experience, increasing employee engagement, and delivering measurable shareholder value. This role is well-suited for an ambitious professional seeking to expand technical leadership, innovation, and influence across the diagnostics service organization.
Responsibilities
Execute the Regional Proactive Services (RPS) strategy by developing and delivering proactive plans of action (POAs) for Atellica and /or Automation systems
Conduct machine data reviews and deep technical analysis to anticipate issues, reduce onsite service visits and overall service costs, and enhance customer satisfaction
Partner with Field Service, Applications, and HSC teams to ensure effective implementation of proactive service plans and resolution of complex issues
Lead or participate in cross-functional initiatives that drive service efficiency, customer excellence, and system uptime
Support innovation and enhancement of service tools
Share technical expertise and best practices across CVC teams and field organizations
Support backend alert management (PSM, Fleet Analytics, etc.)
Track and report program performance metrics, including productivity, KPI improvements, and cost savings
Collaborate with global teams to support the expansion and standardization of RPS programs
Model Service Based Leadership behaviors, fostering teamwork, transparency, and continuous improvement
Other responsibilities as determined by the business
Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, Medical Technology, or related field, or equivalent professional experience
5+ years of technical experience in the medical device, diagnostics, or healthcare IT industry
Knowledge and hands-on experience with Atellica and or Automation systems
Proficiency with data analysis tools (Excel: pivots, graphs, Xlookup; Power BI; SAP; Fleet Analytics; CIM dashboards)
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with proven ability to manage escalations and deliver proactive solutions
Effective communication and presentation skills; comfortable leading meetings and influencing without direct authority
Flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced environment, with a customer-first mindset.
Willingness to travel up to 10–15% for onsite support and collaboration
Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience
Advanced degree or certification in Engineering, IT Service Management, or Healthcare Operations.
Experience with Regional Proactive Services and Field Service POA Support
Familiarity with laboratory workflows, assay troubleshooting, and quality/regulatory systems.
Demonstrated success in cross-functional leadership

The base pay range for this position is:
$102,600 - $141,075Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
If this is a commission eligible position the commission eligibility will be in accordance with the terms of the Company's plan. Commissions are based on individual performance and/or company performance.
