Dispatcher
Type: Full-Time
Reports To: Store Manager .
We’re looking for a Dispatch Manager to oversee daily delivery operations. In this role, you’ll coordinate order scheduling, manage routing, and supervise drivers and pullers to ensure orders are accurate, efficient, and on time—keeping our customers’ projects moving forward.
What You’ll Do
- As part of our team, you’ll:
- Oversee the scheduling, pulling, and loading of orders to ensure timeliness and accuracy.
- Fully learn and utilize our dispatch/shipping software to manage order flow and keep sales teams updated.
- Communicate consistently with sales on delivery statuses, changes, or issues.
- Route trucks for maximum efficiency while maintaining safety and load compliance.
- Supervise pullers and drivers, ensuring they are properly trained and performing at their best.
- Partner with our mechanic to coordinate truck maintenance and respond to driver feedback.
- Review stock issues and communicate with purchasing on shortages or outages.
- Invoice orders accurately at time of shipment.
- Follow company policies on credit returns, pickups, and labor scheduling.
- Support continuous improvement of delivery operations to meet company goals.
