Our esteemed law firm is seeking an experienced Permanent Litigation Attorney to join our dynamic team. We specialize in a variety of legal areas, with a particular focus on construction litigation. This position offers a unique opportunity to work on high-profile cases, providing strategic legal counsel and representation to our diverse clientele. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned civil litigator with a minimum of 5 years of experience, well-versed in Massachusetts laws and regulations, and possess a strong passion for litigation, legal research, and writing.

Job Details

Responsibilities:

• Provide expert legal advice and representation to clients involved in complex civil litigation matters, with a primary focus on construction litigation.
• Conduct comprehensive legal research to support case preparation and legal proceedings.
• Prepare and draft various legal documents such as pleadings, motions, briefs, appeals, contracts, and other necessary legal documents.
• Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and arbitration hearings.
• Develop and implement effective litigation strategies to achieve desired outcomes for clients.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Massachusetts laws, court decisions, and other developments in the legal field.
• Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and legal assistants to ensure the efficient and effective handling of cases.
• Participate in business development activities to attract new clients and maintain relationships with existing clients.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Massachusetts Bar.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a civil litigator, with a focus on construction litigation.
• Proven track record of managing a large caseload and meeting deadlines.
• Exceptional legal research and writing skills.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to provide sound legal advice and representation in complex litigation matters.
• Proficient in using legal research software and other relevant computer applications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and creatively.
• High degree of professional ethics and integrity.
