About the Role:
Join YAZS FARMHOUSE GROUP LLC as a Baker, where your passion for baking will shine in our warm and welcoming environment. We are dedicated to crafting delicious, high-quality baked goods that bring joy to our community in Abington, MA.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and bake a variety of breads, pastries, and desserts to meet daily production needs.
- Ensure all baked goods are made to high standards of quality and presentation.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop new recipes and seasonal offerings.
- Assist in training and mentoring junior bakers and kitchen staff.
- Participate in product tastings and quality assessments.
- Adapt to changing demands and work efficiently under pressure during busy periods.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a baker or in a similar role in a bakery or food establishment.
- Strong knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and equipment.
- Ability to follow recipes and create consistent, high-quality products.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for baking.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings and weekends.
- Food Handler's License or equivalent certification preferred.
- Team player with a positive attitude and strong communication skills.
