We specialize in delivering high-quality calibration services to ensure accuracy and reliability in manufacturing processes. As part of our commitment to excellence, we are seeking a motivated Entry-Level Calibration Technician to join our dynamic team. Position Overview: As an Entry-Level CMM Calibration Technician (Field Tech), you will play a crucial role in maintaining the performance and accuracy of CMM equipment. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about mechanics and precision engineering to gain hands-on experience in the field of metrology. Responsibilities:- Perform routine calibration procedures on CMM equipment following established protocols and procedures.
- Conduct troubleshooting and basic repairs on CMM systems to ensure optimal functionality.
- Utilize measurement tools and software to verify the accuracy and precision of CMM measurements.
- Document calibration results accurately and maintain comprehensive records of calibration activities.
- Assist senior technicians in conducting advanced calibration tasks and equipment maintenance as needed.
- Adhere to safety protocols and quality standards to ensure compliance with industry regulations.
Requirements
Qualifications and Requirements:- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Basic understanding of metrology principles and calibration techniques is a plus.
- Ability to follow technical instructions.
- Prior experience in a manufacturing or technical environment is desirable but not required.
- Ability to travel 75% (Overnights, out of state)
- Ability to commute to Topsfield MA when not traveling.
- Valid Driver's License
- 21 years of age
- Frequently lift and move up to 75lbs.
- Frequently stand, walk, kneel, crouch
