As part of our commitment to excellence, we are seeking a motivated Entry-Level Calibration Technician to join our dynamic team. Position Overview: As an Entry-Level CMM Calibration Technician (Field Tech), you will play a crucial role in maintaining the performance and accuracy of CMM equipment. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about mechanics and precision engineering to gain hands-on experience in the field of metrology. Responsibilities:

• Perform routine calibration procedures on CMM equipment following established protocols and procedures.
• Conduct troubleshooting and basic repairs on CMM systems to ensure optimal functionality.
• Utilize measurement tools and software to verify the accuracy and precision of CMM measurements.
• Document calibration results accurately and maintain comprehensive records of calibration activities.
• Assist senior technicians in conducting advanced calibration tasks and equipment maintenance as needed.
• Adhere to safety protocols and quality standards to ensure compliance with industry regulations.

Requirements

Qualifications and Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Basic understanding of metrology principles and calibration techniques is a plus.
• Ability to follow technical instructions.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing or technical environment is desirable but not required.
• Ability to travel 75% (Overnights, out of state)
• Ability to commute to Topsfield MA when not traveling.
• Valid Driver's License
• 21 years of age
• Frequently lift and move up to 75lbs.
• Frequently stand, walk, kneel, crouch
