We are looking for an experienced Property Manager to oversee residential and commercial properties in Dorchester, Massachusetts. This is a long-term contract position, ideal for a detail-oriented individual with extensive expertise in property management, including handling HUD properties. The role requires strong organizational skills to ensure properties are maintained and tenants are supported effectively.
Responsibilities:• Manage day-to-day operations for residential and commercial properties, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
• Develop and implement strategies to maintain property value and enhance tenant satisfaction.
• Supervise property maintenance, repairs, and inspections to ensure optimal conditions.
• Handle tenant relations, including addressing concerns, managing leases, and ensuring timely communication.
• Oversee financial aspects of property management, including budgeting, rent collection, and expense tracking.
• Ensure compliance with HUD guidelines and other applicable housing regulations.
• Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for property improvements and maintenance.
• Prepare detailed reports on property performance and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
• Respond promptly to emergencies and resolve issues to maintain tenant safety and satisfaction.
• Implement best practices to streamline property management processes.• Minimum of 7 years of experience in property management, with a focus on residential and commercial properties.
• Comprehensive knowledge of HUD housing regulations and guidelines.
• Proven ability to manage multiple properties and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Strong financial acumen, including experience with budgeting, rent collection, and expense management.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with tenants and stakeholders.
• Familiarity with property management software and tools.
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to coordinate and supervise contractors and vendors efficiently.
