Job Details – Cath Lab RN Travel Assignment

• Location: Burlington, Massachusetts 01803
• Assignment Type: Locum Tenens / Travel Nursing Contract
• Healthcare Setting: Cardiac Catheterization Lab (Cath Lab)
• Start Date: October 6, 2025
• End Date: January 3, 2026
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: Day Shift, 4x10 hour shifts (7:00am – 5:30pm)
• Hours: 40 hours per week; weekends and on-call as needed
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $3000 - $3080 per week

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts RN license (required)
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) (required)
• BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
• Minimum 3-5 years of recent Cath Lab RN experience strongly preferred
• Proficiency in diagnostic caths, interventional procedures, Rotablator, IVUS, FFR, and hemodynamic monitoring
• Experience with IABP and Impella devices required
• ECMO experience preferred
• Ability to perform all Cath Lab and/or EP roles (sedation, monitor, circulator, scrub) highly preferred
• EP Lab experience preferred but not required
• Previous ICU or Emergency Department (ED) experience preferred
• RCIS certification preferred
• 2025-2026 flu vaccine required at time of submission (attestation accepted if not yet received; declinations not accepted)
• Must not have worked at any Beth Israel facility (perm/travel/PRN) in the past 6 months
• Facility is not accepting local candidates

Cath Lab RN Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization procedures
• Assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, including Rotablator, IVUS, FFR, and hemodynamic monitoring
• Operate and manage IABP and Impella devices during procedures
• Participate in all Cath Lab and/or Electrophysiology (EP) roles as needed (sedation, monitor, circulator, scrub)
• Provide on-call and weekend coverage as scheduled
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to hospital protocols and safety standards
