2020 On-site is the leader in mobile vision care. Since 2014, our Mobile Vision Clinics have provided eye care to over 75,000 patients at their workplaces, schools and neighborhoods. In May 2020, we expanded our services to provide vital access to clinical trial assessments and tests, bringing uniquely equipped Mobile Clinics directly to participants. Our focus is “radical patient-centricity”, prioritizing the patient experience, minimizing time and distance barriers.

About the Opportunity
20/20 Onsite is based on the East Coast, but our operations span across the U.S. We’re seeking a Patient Coordinator who can provide one hour of overlap with our East Coast team and three additional hours of evening availability to support patient communications and scheduling. This is expected to be a 3–6 month contract position with the potential to extend or transition into a full-time role for the right person.
About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and compassionate Patient Coordinator to support our Patient Experience Manager during evening hours. This person will be the main point of contact for patients during this time, helping to ensure smooth communication, scheduling, and a positive overall experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer and manage incoming patient phone calls during scheduled hours
- Coordinate and schedule patient and study participant clinic visits
- Communicate and follow up with clinical trial sites as needed
- Maintain accurate patient and project information in tracking systems
- Support the Patient Experience Manager by ensuring a smooth handoff between daytime and evening operations
- Collaborate with clinic managers and other team members to keep scheduling and communication seamless
- Assist with meeting coordination, documentation, and other administrative tasks as requested
Qualifications
- 1+ year of experience in Patient Coordination or Communication
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Professional, patient-focused, and reliable
- Experience in healthcare, clinical research, or a related field preferred
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office and Google Workspace tools
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Previous experience in ophthalmology clinical trials is a plus but not required
