Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – ICU / Critical Care
Location: Falmouth, MA 02540
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Night Shift | 3x12 Hours
Hours: 07:00 PM – 07:00 AM | 36 Hours/Week
Schedule Requirement: Every Other Weekend & Rotating Holidays

Job Summary

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week contract opportunity in an acute care hospital setting. The ideal candidate will have strong critical care experience managing high-acuity patients in a fast-paced ICU environment.

The RN will provide comprehensive patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation while collaborating closely with interdisciplinary healthcare teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality patient care using the nursing process
• Monitor, administer, and evaluate medications and treatments
• Perform ongoing patient assessments and maintain accurate documentation
• Support ventilator care and hemodynamic monitoring
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams on patient care plans
• Respond effectively to emergency and critical care situations
• Maintain compliance with infection control and patient safety standards
• Utilize EMR and computerized charting systems efficiently
• Float to Med/Surg Tele units as needed based on patient census

Requirements

• Active Massachusetts RN License required
• Minimum ICU/Critical Care nursing experience required
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
• Experience with ventilator care and hemodynamic monitoring preferred
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• BSN preferred

Certifications Required

• AHA BLS Certification
• ACLS Certification
