Johnson Service Group, a nationally award-winning staffing firm, has an immediate opportunity for a Medical Device Evaluation Technician for a global medical device client in Charlton, MA

Contract | Onsite | $20 - $22 per Hr. depending on qualifications.

Summary: We’re looking for a detail-oriented Medical Device Evaluation Technician. In this role, you’ll inspect, evaluate, and document returned medical devices (endoscopes and light cables) to ensure the highest standards of quality and safety. Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and document returned medical devices using SAP.
• Clean, disassemble, inspect, and reassemble endoscopes and light cables.
• Follow all biohazard and safety procedures when handling returned products.
• Create detailed product evaluation reports, including photos and repair recommendations.
• Support data entry of evaluations and movement of inventory to appropriate repair locations as required.
• Make a financial decision based on evaluation findings and ensure accurate entry of damage levels for distribution and the external customer.
• Support warranty and complaint investigations with accurate evaluation data.
• Inspect the evaluations of other team members for quality control.
• Maintain proper documentation and ensure compliance with ISO and FDA quality standards.
• Responsible for knowledge of and adherence to environmental policies and company procedures related to ISO 14001 and FDA quality system regulation, ISO 13485.
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily goals in a clean, safety-focused environment.

Skills/Experience:

• 1–2 years of experience in manufacturing, quality inspection, or a related hands-on technical role.
• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity; comfortable using hand tools and microscopes.
• Able to use basic measurement, tools for both dimensional and visual evaluations, preferably in medical device manufacturing
• Basic computer skills, including SAP and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
• Team player with great communication and a strong commitment to safety and quality.
