What You'll Do at Pega- Lead Design Initiatives: Drive the design process, ensuring high standards of design quality and consistency across all projects
- Build Strong Relationships: Establish and maintain strong working relationships with senior leadership and cross-functional partners, including product designers, product managers, and engineers
- Drive Pega’s Design System Adoption: Adopt, apply, and evolve Pega’s design system to deliver cohesive, scalable, and accessible solutions that balance consistency with innovation across new product experiences
- Leverage Emerging Technologies: Utilize advanced technologies, including generative AI, to enhance customer experiences, automate tasks, optimize development processes, and foster innovation
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with UX research and client success teams to ensure that solutions meet the diverse needs of our clients
- 7+ years of experience as a product (UX or interaction) designer specializing in SaaS applications
- Proficient in industry-standard design tools
- An effective collaborator who works well with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, and client success, to align on goals and drive project success
- An interaction designer with deep expertise in accessibility and information architecture, and a solid understanding of front-end best practices
- A lifelong learner, constantly exploring new approaches and refining your skills
- Successfully led design projects for SaaS applications from concept to completion, delivering value to both enterprise clients and their end users
- Applied user research and usability testing insights to inform design decisions, resulting in improved user satisfaction and product performance
- Contributed to and utilized design systems by developing reusable UI components and UX patterns that promote accessibility, efficiency, and visual consistency
- Mentored designers, providing guidance and fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth
