How you will contribute

  • Review and audit transactions and reports to ensure accuracy, compliance, and proper authorization

  • Monitor account activity for BSA/AML and fraud using Verafin and other systems; investigate suspicious behavior and recommend next steps

  • Prepare and file CTRs and SARs within required timelines

  • Compile and submit monthly BSA-related reports for leadership

  • Manage and review FINCEN files, ensuring accurate uploads and timely resolution of member matches

  • Review and investigate internal suspicious activity reports submitted by staff

  • Monitor OFAC matches and ensure issues are resolved quickly and accurately

  • Maintain and complete daily Verafin monitoring checklists

  • Evaluate business risk assessment forms, confirm information, and apply appropriate risk ratings

  • Support ongoing risk management initiatives and assist with audits

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance both member and employee experiences

  • Complete all required compliance and professional development training

What we need from you

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree preferred)

  • 3–5 years of experience in BSA/AML, fraud, or compliance roles

  • Strong analytical mindset and exceptional attention to detail

  • Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and general banking operations

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Team-oriented, adaptable, and comfortable managing multiple priorities

  • Strong service mindset and desire for continuous improvement

  • Experience with Verafin is a strong plus
