SQA Automation Engineer

Who we are looking for We are currently looking for an Officer level QA automation engineer to be a part of the agile development team in order to perform FORTE Front Office platform. This is an opportunity to work within a very strong development team and help to build up automation solutions. The candidate should have a minimum of 6 years working experience on QA automation in FX domains. What you will be responsible for As a SQA automation engineer you will responsible for the below duties - Demonstrate expertise in Core Java (Intermediate/Expert), BDD Framework, Design Framework, Cucumber, SQL and shell scripting languages such as Bash
- Create comprehensive test automation scripts from business requirements and functional specifications for product features
- Maintain automated test script libraries for functional, integration, regression, and performance testing
- Execute complex manual and automated functional, integration, regression, and performance tests
- Interpret results of automation tests and document software defects in issue tracking system; proactively communicate issues with developers and other project team members
- Work closely with the business analysts, product specialists, developers and other project team members to assist in carrying out the software quality responsibilities of the Scrum team
- Demonstrated experience using test cases, scripts, and automated test tools for verifying requirements on multi-tier applications
- Financial services knowledge in Foreign Exchange is desired
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines
What we value - 6+ years hands-on experience in developing and maintaining automated test suites.
- 2+ years hands on experience in developing and maintaining test automation framework or architecture that is scalable and maintainable to dynamic business needs.
- Strong experience with database testing (Oracle, SQL/NoSQL).
- Experience working in automated test and continuous deployment environments.
- Use coding standard for automation testing, documentation, release and configuration management and expertise in CI/CD.
- Self-motivated, creative problem solver, organized, collaborative with excellent communication skills
Education & Preferred Qualifications - Masters or B.S. degree in Computer Science or related field
- 8+years of experience in Information Technology, Quality Assurance Testing and Automation
- Experience in financial industry working on Front, Middle, Back Office functions.
- Experience in agile delivery & adhering to SDLC processes is required
- Focus and desire to deliver high quality service.
- Ability to work in a high pressured and time sensitive environment
Salary Range: $65,000 - $102,500 Annual The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
