Overview
Operating Room Registered Nurse (Travel) – OR specialty in Pittsfield, MA. This 40-hour weekly assignment with on-call coverage starts 08/31/2026 and runs for weeks in a hospital operating suite. Pay ranges from $2,777 to $2,811 per week. Shift pattern is 4x10 days with no guaranteed hours. This role requires MA RN licensure in hand (conditional licenses accepted) and appropriate OR certifications. Responsibilities
- Provide intraoperative nursing care as a circulating or scrub OR RN, supporting the surgical team during procedures
- Prepare the operating room, ensure sterility, arrange equipment, and verify patient identity and procedure
- Assist with instrument handling, sponge/needlestick counts, specimen labeling, and maintaining accurate intraoperative documentation
- Monitor patient vitals and anesthesia status; promptly respond to changes in patient condition
- Maintain aseptic technique, promote safety and infection control standards, and manage turnover between cases

Requirements
- Massachusetts RN license in hand at submission (conditional licenses accepted)
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
- Minimum 1 year OR nursing experience
- Ability to work in a high-demand OR setting with on-call requirements
- SSN and DOB required for submission
- Education appropriate for RN licensure
