Position OverviewThe Construction Project Manager will oversee and coordinate construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. This role requires strong leadership skills, as well as expertise in construction management and project planning. Key Responsibilities
- Plan and define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Develop and manage project budgets and schedules, ensuring adherence to financial and timing constraints.
- Supervise construction activities and manage site operations to guarantee compliance with safety and building codes.
- Conduct risk management assessments and implement strategies to mitigate potential issues.
- Coordinate and communicate with contractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure smooth project execution.
- Oversee contract administration and procurement processes to secure necessary resources and materials.
- Implement quality control measures throughout the construction process to maintain high standards.
- Lead project teams, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project delivery.
- Prepare and present progress reports to stakeholders, addressing any concerns or changes in project scope.
- Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction management principles, practices, and procedures.
- Experience with budgeting, cost estimation, and financial management.
- Familiarity with building codes, safety compliance, and site management protocols.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills for effective stakeholder communication.
- Ability to lead and motivate teams, ensuring collaboration and productivity.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Certifications such as PMP or equivalent are a plus.
