Operations Specialist
Seeking a Operations Specialist for a high growth aerospace contractor in the Norwood, MA area. The Ops/Supply Chain Specialist would be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our supply chain. This role focuses on ensuring smooth and efficient daily operations, including shipping and receiving, supply chain support, and supplier alignment. Apply now for immediate consideration! education: Bachelors responsibilities:
- End-to-End Supply Chain Management: Oversee procurement, logistics, and inventory for seamless daily operations.
- Strategic Procurement: Source production materials based on cost/availability and manage the full Purchase Order (PO) lifecycle to ensure on-time delivery.
- Inventory & Data Integrity: Manage stock levels, replenishment, and monthly reporting; maintain ERP accuracy, including BOMs and part numbers.
- RMA & Repair Logistics: Plan, schedule, and track repairs (RMAs), calculating material recharges and ordering parts for future maintenance.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Interface with planners, distribution centers, and vendors to resolve disruptions and align scheduling with customer demand.
- Compliance & Process Improvement: Develop operational policies and ensure adherence to industry regulations and 5S standards.
