Dave's Chimney Service, LLC. in Methuen, MA is looking to hire a full-time Experienced Chimney Tech to inspect, service, and repair our clients' fireplaces and chimneys. This fireplace service position earns a competitive salary of $65,000 - $80,000 per year , depending on experience. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN EXPERIENCED CHIMNEY TECH
As a member of our fireplace service team, you are responsible for a major part of our services. You install and service the chimneys and fireplaces of our clients, making their homes a lot more comfortable. When interacting with our customers, you ensure that you are professional and prompt, especially when taking care of their concerns and finding solutions. As services are requested and completed, you complete all estimates and invoices in our software in order to maintain accurate records. Working closely with your team, you lead by example and make sure that you and your team have the required training to get the job done. When you're not at the job site, you make sure that your work truck is well maintained and stocked. You feel good about using your skills to help others and keep our operations efficient!
QUALIFICATIONS
- Chimney Safety Institution of America (CSIA) certification
- 2+ years of chimney tech experience
- Masonry experience
- Knowledge of National Fireplace Institute (NFI) or National Fire Prevention Association (NFPA) codes and clearances
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- Reliable form of transportation
- Residency within 40 minutes of our office
- Ability to work from heights
- Willingness to work in all weather conditions
