Duties:

• Furnace loading/unloading.
• Batching raw materials.
• Keeping daily activity records.
• Preventative furnace and lab equipment maintenance.
• Assisting in building new custom furnace/mechanical equipment.
• Lab cleaning.
• Carefully follow industrial procedures and working instructions.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Weekend shifts may be needed.

Requirements:

• Technical school graduate or equivalent experience.
• Craftsman skill level with assembly hand tools and light power tools.
• Competence in the use of measurement tools, gauges, and meters.
• Attention to detail and ability to retain communicated information.
• Appropriate communication skills to convey information to other associates and supervisors.
• Following guidance from superiors and proper chain of command.
• Capable to work well independently assuming responsibility for own work.
• Neat, accurate, and consistent work.
• Preferred experience with furnace equipment, electric equipment, and optical components.
• Capable of using standard PC software (Microsoft Excell, Word, etc.).
