We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our team in North Reading, Massachusetts. In this role, you will provide essential support for family law matters, including divorce proceedings and other legal issues. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in family law and be skilled in managing legal documentation, client communication, and case preparation.
Responsibilities:• Draft and file legal motions related to family law cases.
• Prepare and respond to discovery requests in compliance with legal standards.
• Compile and review financial statements for case proceedings.
• Collaborate closely with clients to gather information and provide updates.
• Manage case files and maintain accurate records using case management software.
• Assist in trial preparation by organizing documentation and exhibits.
• Conduct research to support legal arguments and case strategies.
• Ensure all filings are completed promptly and accurately.
• Provide administrative support to attorneys as needed.• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Family Law Paralegal.
• Comprehensive knowledge of family law processes and procedures.
• Proficiency in drafting motions, discovery responses, and financial statements.
• Experience with case management software and litigation support tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with trial preparation and civil litigation procedures.
