Senior Business Manager
A Kforce client is seeking to hire a Project Financial Analyst (Grants Manager) in Brighton, Massachusetts (MA). Summary: This client is a non-profit media organization, making it an interesting, and exciting industry to work in. The role will work in a hybrid schedule, Tuesdays and Wednesdays in office and the rest of the week remote. Duties:
- Support contract negotiation, budgeting, payroll, AP, project coding, and operational needs
- Monitor project budgets and expenses
- Review and approve budgets, schedules, and financial reports to manage costs
- Oversee subcontract milestones, invoicing and payment tracking
- Fulfill audit and tax-related documentation requests
- Manage close processes
- Identify efficiencies and advise on policies and systems
- Provide financial and operational guidance to leadership
- Coach staff on compliance and best practices
- Bachelor's degree is required
- MBA is a huge plus
- 6+ years of finance, budget management, and/or operational oversight experience
- Grant management experience
- Experience in non-profit or higher education environment
- Experience in production for online learning
- Familiarity with QuickBooks, Filmmaker Pro and/or Workday is preferred
- Proficiency in Excel
- Excellent communication skills
