The Sr. Director, FP&A will be responsible for challenging and supporting the business, increasing the company’s ability to anticipate business issues, and driving informed data-driven decision-making through sound financial management. This individual will drive key financial planning processes across the company, collaborating with leadership to provide actionable insights, and ensuring the alignment of financial goals with business objectives. The ideal candidate will have proven leadership with strong business and financial acumen, excellent analytical and strategic planning skills, a deep understanding of financial modeling, and the ability to communicate complex financial information in a clear answer concise way, while influencing decision-making at the highest levels.
This is a hybrid role. The selected candidate will reside within commuting distance of our Danvers, MA headquarters and will be expected to work in the office at least one day a week and as needed.
What you will be doing:
- Oversee the analysis of business performance against financial plans, providing timely insights to senior leadership on variances, trends, and business drivers
- Own the financial planning processes and underlying financial model, including a multi-year financial plan that is supported by analysis of key trends that are driving the business; provide leadership in the development and continuous evaluation of financial short-and-long-term strategic objectives
- Develop financial models for new offers, including revenue, cost, and pricing
- Build partnership with Business Units and Sales, providing data-driven recommendations on pricing, discounting, sales incentives, and go-to-market strategies.
- Oversee and enhance financial models and data analytics to support decision-making, ensuring accuracy in revenue forecasts and cost structures.
- Act as a strategic partner to the CFO and leadership team via financial insights and recommendations
- Lead and mentor FP&A team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- 15+ years’ experience within FP&A function, 10+ years previous managerial experience, including management of remote teams
Compensation range: $190,000 - $225,000
Other compensation: Performance bonus eligible
The actual salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, training, licensure, certifications, related experience and other related factors.
