Provides legal counsel and guidance to administration and other personnel on matters involving legal problems in accordance with the rules of the Supreme Judicial Court and the applicable rules and regulations of the Massachusetts Bar. Assumes a leadership role in ensuring the provision of legal counsel and the protection of legal rights for the corporation. Provides legal advice to the hospital community. Apprises and keeps hospital management informed of proposed and new legislation and administrative and court decisions pertinent to the operation of the hospital. Provides updates on changing regulations.
