Manufacturing Electrical Systems Electrician (Journeyman)

Hourly rate: $38.00–$48.47

In this role, you will

• Pinpoint and troubleshoot machinery issues, then align fixes with mechanics and supervisors.
• Apply thorough NEC knowledge to maintain plant compliance and safety.
• Bring familiarity with complex manufacturing operations (preferred).
• Share expertise across a diverse team; coach and collaborate.
• Partner effectively with maintenance peers, contractors, and vendors.
• Service advanced control systems: servos, servo amplifiers, and servo controllers.
• Seek out and resolve electrical component/system issues across the entire facility and grounds.
• Bend/install various conduit types; size wire and conduit to distance and FLA; perform clean terminations.
• Work across low/high voltage, from 24V to 480V.
• Install, maintain, and repair facility and industrial electrical systems.
• Interpret electrical schematics precisely.
• Diagnose motors, motor controls, and device control circuits.
• Troubleshoot sensors and solid-state equipment.
• Identify and order parts using manufacturers’ manuals and prints.
• Communicate clearly in writing and verbally.
• Other duties as assigned.

What it takes

• High school diploma or GED; or at least 5 years of related experience/training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Journeyman or Master Electrician license (required).
